SUMMARY:Safeguarding Seniors Preventing Elder Crime and Financial Exploitation
DESCRIPTION:Get Tickets \n\nStudies show that nearly 50% of those with dementia experienced abuse or neglect. Interpersonal violence occurs at higher rates among adults with disabilities. These years of COVID-related issues such as isolation\, financial stress\, and concerns about health—led to increased depression and anxiety\, making older adults and people with disabilities more susceptible to crime\, abuse and neglect.
