SUMMARY:Mental Health and Physical Conditions in the Elderly
DESCRIPTION:This training is a highly-rated investigations program that has consistently provided up-to-date training for professionals involved in elder abuse and elder death cases. The Shaken Baby Alliance has partnered with leading experts in elder abuse and agencies throughout the United States to produce Best Practice training to meet the needs of over 18\,400 multidisciplinary professionals. \nThe Mental Health and Physical Conditions in the Elderly Population is a two-day course designed to provide the law enforcement officer\, APS Specialist/Investigator\, mental health specialists\, and other professionals who work with the elderly population with advanced knowledge related to the mental health and physical conditions seen in the elderly and persons with disabilities. \nThis training is based on the philosophy that investigative and legal professionals with a solid foundational understanding of the medical aspects of child abuse and neglect and forensic investigative techniques will be provided with the tools necessary to investigate\, prosecute\, and ultimately protect children. \nNovember 29-30\, 2023 \n8:30 AM – 4:30 PM\nRegistration begins at 8:00 AM \nCourtyard Houston Medical Center\n7702 Main St.\nHouston\, TX 77030 \n$129 per person*\n*20% Discount for three or more students from the same agency – $119.20 per person.  Please call for a coupon code. 817-882-8686\, or if you need to pay with PO \nGet Tickets
