Craig Futterman, M.D.

Vice President

Craig Futterman, M.D. is a Cardiac Critical Care Specialist at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C.  Dr. Futterman completed his undergraduate education at George Washington University and attended Eastern Virginia Medical School.  He completed an Internship and Residency in Pediatrics at Akron Children’s Hospital and a Residency Program in Anesthesiology at the New England Medical Center/Tufts.  He completed a Fellowship Program in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Critical Care at the Children’s Hospital of Boston.

His professional expertise and personal passion for protecting children makes him an invaluable member of our team.  Dr. Futterman became involved with The Shaken Baby Alliance as a volunteer and then a Board Member.  He has served as past President and is currently serves as Vice President.
