Ronald (Ron) Kunz has a BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington where he graduated in 1982.  Ron began working for United Parcel Service (UPS) during college on a part time basis and served his entire career with UPS until his retirement in July 2015. During his tenure with UPS, Ron worked in many divisions and aspects of the UPS business from pre-loading package cars to driving package cars and after college graduation being promoted up the ranks in the UPS management system.  He ended his career with UPS as the Center Director for the Granbury, TX UPS facility. Ron began volunteering for the SBA when he first became an Assistant Coach for the SBA sponsored Special Olympics Team.  He saw first-hand the long-term effects of Shaken Baby Syndrome/Abusive Head Trauma (SBS/AHT) as several of our athletes are victims of SBS/AHT. Ron became committed to preventing this form of child physical abuse and began volunteering to coordinate training and Case Consultation Services.  After serving in this capacity for over two years, he was hired as a part-time contractor serving as the Manager – Training and Case Consultation Services where he utilizes his skill set to plan and implement all areas of the training programs including planning, marketing, materials management, arranging training and travel schedules for the multi-disciplinary training team, program record keeping, databases, and on-site training support. Ron coordinates logistics for the We Love Kids Telethon and is an avid dirt bike racer on the weekends. Ron serves on the Board of Directors of the Texas Vintage Racing Club, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit as the Secretary.
