Texas Rangers Company B, Texas Department Of Public Safety
Jason Bobo serves as a Lieutenant in Company B. He previously served as Team Leader for Company “F” Crime Scene Team, where he conducted criminal and special investigations, rendered assistance to local law enforcement in suppressing crime and violence, and held lead criminal investigative responsibility for major incident crime investigation and unsolved crime investigations, public corruption investigations, officer involved shootings, etc. He provides testimony to grand juries and trial courts, disseminates criminal intelligence pertaining to organized crime, and provides protection for elected officials at public functions and elsewhere. Jason is a member of the Texas Ranger Crime Scene Investigation Working Group which proposes, evaluates, recommends, and instructs members of the Texas Rangers in new equipment and techniques. In 2016, he graduated from National Forensic Academy at the University of Tennessee and was certified as a Crime Scene Investigator with the International Association for Identification.
