Melissa Figueroa Ashley

Melissa Figueroa Ashley received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in December 1995 from Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi.  Melissa then went on to receive her Master of Science in Nursing and completed the coursework and certification to be a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) at Texas A&M University, Corpus Christi in May of 2001.  Melissa has worked for Bay Area Dialysis, Sinton, Bay Area Kidney Disease Physicians, Psychiatric Consulting Services, and Nurse Practitioner Group (NPG) of Corpus Christi.  Melissa currently serves Nurse Practitioner for Wellmed in Corpus Christi, TX where she specializes in elderly patients and has a special interest in mental health care.   She is widowed, has two daughters, and cares for her elderly mother who lives in her home
